The Environics Institute polled 5,732 people online, across all Canadian provinces and territories, from December 2018 to January 2019. In Saskatchewan, 53 per cent of respondents agreed with the statement, “Western Canada gets so few benefits from being part of Canada that they might as well go it on their own.”
In Alberta and Saskatchewan the proportions agreeing with the statement have jumped 28 and 25 percentage points, respectively, since 2010. To what should Canadians attribute these finding to? The answer is more than obvious.
As Cultural Action Party of Canada has maintained since day one, Justin Trudeau is a destroyer. East vs West, Globalists vs Nationalists, Christians vs Muslims, Heteros vs Homos– the list goes on and on. During his tenure, PM Trudeau has angered western Canadians to no end. Oil industry shutdowns, provincial transfer payments, cancelled pipelines, rising unemployment and favouritism to Quebec have been the result of Trudeau’s decision-making.
Basically, Albertans hate his guts. Not a SINGLE RIDING in Alberta is predicted to be captured by a Liberal candidate. The resentment is palpable as western Canadians witness our PM’s tedious antics as related to LGBT, the Nation of Islam, and the Sikh Nationalism.
Saskatchewan’s Economic Minister Jeremy Harrison pointed to pipelines, carbon tax and the energy and resource sector as files leading to discontent. “All of these things add up to a population that are deeply, deeply frustrated with the Liberal government nationally,” he said.
Throughout his tenure Mr. Trudeau has clung to the “diversity is our strength” mantra like a drowning man(sorry–person-kind) clings to his capsized boat in a storm. Yet, it is Trudeau who continuously sows the seeds of division. So much so, Canada is facing the prospect of being divided into two separate entities. This situation is the direct result of the arrogance of Trudeau, his cabinet, his co-workers(Freeland, Hussen, Morneau) and his consultants(Butts, Telford).
Interestingly, it is arguable the trouble originated with another Trudeau family member, father Pierre. It was he who created the National Energy Board, resulting in tens of millions of dollars being taken from Alberta and handed to Eastern provinces each year- particularly to the province of Quebec. No wonder westerners despise the Trudeau family.
Support for separation from Canada is equally strong among younger and older westerners. This represents a significant shift since 2010, when it was older residents who were most likely to express this sentiment. Forty-nine per cent of Westerners said the federal government has become virtually irrelevant to them. This is up from 38 per cent in 2003.
From day Justin Trudeau one he has frustrated and angered western Canadians. He does not listen to public opinion. He disrespects democratic process, and perhaps worst of all, disrespects the very people who voted him into office.
The sooner he is gone, the better for all. Except, of course, for his precious Islamic, LGBT and Third World communities, who Trudeau has elevated to the pinnacle of social standing within Canadian society. No Canadian-born citizen asked for this either.
