Throughout his four year term as prime minister, Mr. Trudeau’s penchant for playing Mr. Dress-up has been on display for all voters to witness. The government has once again revised a report intended to update Canadians on major terrorist threats within our borders. They have removed all references to Islamist extremism. While the report had initially identified attackers “inspired by violent Sunni Islamist ideology” as the main terrorist threat to Canada, that line has now been cut.
What is severely out of tune here, and deplorable, is the quick and thoughtless recourse to the implicit slurs of “bias” and “bigotry.”
