Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, a psychology professor at the University of Toronto, is refusing to use “transgender pronouns.” And for that offense, he may risk jail time!

I am finding the trend towards stifling free speech increasingly Orwellian. I have a graduate degree in psychology and agree 100% with Dr Peterson, but even if I didn’t, I would stand up for his right to say what he believes. Also, people can refer to themselves in whatever way they wish, but they have no right to force other people to do so! Freedom of Speech should NOT be curtailed in order to avoid “hurt feelings” or someone being “offended”! Universities need to insist that students grow up and take responsibility for their own feelings. Universities are meant to be places of higher learning, not “safe spaces”. I’m disgusted!
Free speech ,democracy will not be silenced by those who push their agenda by use of protests,abuse shouting down others and using laws out to shut our freedoms down.lgbt use these techniques to shut down any one who opposes them.
Free speech rites must be respected and not taken away, it is one of the few we need to stay a civilized country.
