Speaking to thousands near Parliament Hill, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau focused on the Canadian flag and its adoption by far-right groups as a symbol of anti-government rage.
“Canada has never been perfect, and it’s not perfect now,” said Trudeau.
Right– and you, more than any politician in history, have focused on Canada’s imperfections. Your purpose for doing so remains an unanswered question.
Cultural Action Party are interested to know the purpose. How does running down our country for six-plus years result in social harmony, or the healing that Mr. Trudeau incessantly speaks of. Or rather, does perpetual condemnation result in a divisiveness in society that politicians like Trudeau and New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh are using to their political advantage?
“Launched on June 29, 2022 an educational toolkit created by the federally supported Canadian Anti-Hate Network, jointly announced with government, calls for a politically correct culture change in schools across Canada.”
Effectively, Liberal government-endorsed Anti-Hate Network has branded an historical Canadian flag a hate symbol. The Red Ensign served as the country’s civil ensign from 1892 to 1965 when it was replaced by today’s Maple Leaf flag.
As directed by Minister of Multiculturalism MP Ahmed Hussen in partnership with the Anti-Hate non-profit, the historical flag was transitioned to a symbol of hate two days previous to Canada Day, 2022.
Is the current Canadian flag next? Woke Liberals will scoff, but thinking Canadians would be wise to take heed. Intimations of this are bubbling up as we speak.
In terms of Canada-hating leftist media, we would be hard-pressed to find a more virulent player than The Conversation. “Academic Rigor, Journalist Flair” may be their tag-line, but they are far more interested in Academic propaganda and journalist deceptions.
“Has the flag outlived its specific use and intended specific political representation? Or will it be now seen as a symbol which has outlived its usefulness?”
“Will more and more Canadians become increasingly uncomfortable with its symbolic content after such public demonstrations and its association with such a toxic brand of nationalism?”
CAP note the rhetorical content. The Conversation want this outcome badly. Their animus toward our country remains aligned with Canada’s woke warriors, in addition to PM Justin Trudeau and NDP Party leader Jagmeet Singh. Government isn’t funding their operation for them to produce chopped liver. They want results, and want them now.
As such, a movement is bubbling up declaring the current Canadian flag a symbol of colonialism, racism, and oppression. Patriots would do well to ask themselves a pertinent question:
How often do these people not get their way? MP Ahmed Hussen is a current citizen of Somalia. He can leave and go back there after denigrating our society. Anti-Hate Network are an unelected, qualification-lacking group of citizens working to control political discourse in Canada.
They are winning, and Canadians are losing. These forces wish to control the public narrative as ultimate arbitrators of right and wrong. CAP fail to see how they earn the right to do so.
“In 1982, Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau changed “Dominion Day” to “Canada Day.” How many more years until Canada Day is completely erased?”
To which we add a corollary: How many more years until the Canadian flag is erased? How many more years until the current identity of Canada is erased?
In CAP’s opinion, all of it is forthcoming. An astute political observer can feel it in their bones. We witness how Trudeau, Singh, media and academia work in collusion to chip away at the foundation of our country. Too much all at once, and the communist cat is out of the bag.
Journalist Doug Cuthand personifies media malevolency:
“Now when I see a Canadian flag, it is attached to a pickup truck or draped around some angry white man. Our flag has been appropriated by protesters and is now a symbol of occupation and right-wing rage.”
Haters like Cuthand– the type who brand patriots as haters– have a specific goal in mind. None of which includes traditional Canadian identity, or our “Old Stock” communities. The nature of the game is one of “inclusiveness”– but not in the way the woke position it.
The vibe is apparent: those refusing to join Trudeau’s Woke Revolution are designated as social outcasts. It is what has been cooked up by way of Covid, Vaccines, Freedom Convoys and frozen bank accounts.
“The Trumpet has been warning of how the radical-left government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants to make Canada the first post-national country, meaning a nation that has no identity or unifying characteristic.”
“This is part of the radical-left’s communist agenda. Reimagining Canada is fundamentally transforming Canada into a communist state.”
Historical erasure is fundamental to conversion from democracy to dictatorship. The first targets are a country’s primary symbols. MP Ahmed Hussen just took a step with branding the Red Ensign flag a hate symbol. A similar fate may well occur regarding our current flag.
The name “Canada likely comes from the Huron-Iroquois word “Kanata,” meaning “village” or “settlement.” In 1535, two Aboriginal youths told French explorer Jacques Cartier about the route to Kanata; they were actually referring to the village of Stadacona, the site of the present-day City of Québec.
Which renders our country’s name in Aboriginal territory. How long before leftist organizations leverage this fact to change the name of Canada? Through media’s association with our flag as a symbol of far-right ideology, these government-funded organizations perpetuate the demise of our nation.
Justin Trudeau and the Liberals currently fund over 1000 media publications in Canada. Maclean’s, Postmedia, Bell Media, Torstar, and Epoch Times received tens of millions as part of a $595 million dollar payout to media in 2020.
Effective at their jobs they are.
