The province of Guangdong surpassed Henan and Shandong to become the most populous province in China in January 2005, registering 79.1 million permanent residents. The total population was 104.3 million residents in a 2010 census.
According to “Covid Tracker”(see link), the Guangdong province–home to thousands of industrial and manufacturing facilities, is reported as having a total of 1963 cases. Beyond this– the reports states a grand total of eight fatalities from the Covid pandemic.
In Canada, our most populous province has in 2020 a total of 14.7 million residents. According to CBC News, on November 14th, 2020, Ontario reported 1,588 new COVID-19 cases in one day along with 21 new deaths.
At a news conference, Premier Doug Ford announced that Toronto and Peel Region would move into lockdown at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, November 23rd.
“In this darkest hour, we see what we’re made of. We will endure, we will persevere, and we will get through this,” Premier Ford stated.
Turns out what Doug Ford omitted–along with every establishment media journalist and organizations in Canada– is that within the SOURCE NATION for Covid 19, it is no manner their “darkest hour.”
