Just 17% Of Canadians Support Canada’s Highest Quotas In Immigration History

“A Nanos Research Group poll, reported by Bloomberg News, found that only 17% of respondents think the country should accept more immigrants in 2021 than it did in 2020.

The result is a shunning of majority opinion by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. As Cultural Action Party has pointed out, within the world of public polls in Canada, a curious state-of-affairs exists.

Since PM Trudeau assumed his position as PM, poll after poll focused upon social issues such as immigration and refugee intake deliver consistent results:

Canadians do not want what Trudeau has delivered. One of the most pertinent  examples is found in the world of citizenship for terrorists. Informed citizens may recall this profound statement from Justin Trudeau in 2015:

“The Liberal Party believes that terrorists should get to keep their Canadian citizenship … because I do,” Trudeau told a Winnipeg town hall in July, 2015. “And I’m willing to take on anyone who disagrees with that.”

As it transpired, 80% of Canadians disagree with Mr. Trudeau. A National Post article from 2012 delivered the following news:

Eight out of 10 people polled by NRG Research agreed Canadians guilty of treason should lose their citizenship. A similar ratio favoured revoking citizenship from terrorists who target their countrymen.

Extent to which PM Trudeau adhered to the will of the public? Zero–nothing at all. More recently, 83% of Canadians polled are opposed to an increase in immigration quota intake. Degree of consideration of the will of the majority? Not a damn thing.

Meet Justin Trudeau’s post-modern Canada: the land where democracy means not a damn thing. Number of examples where CBC, CTV, Globe & Mail, National Post and Toronto Star have articulated this absence of democracy to the Canadian public?

CAP put this someplace between zero and nothing. A salient observation never once addressed by establishment media:

A plethora of polls reveal Canadians in opposition with government policy. Meanwhile, poll after poll among voters reveal Trudeau as the #1 choice for prime minister among voters.

How odd-ball this is. And yet, after five years of Trudeau “pixie-dust,” the people of Canada should expect nothing less. It seems popularity of a candidate and winning elections have less and less to do with each other as time passes.

One pertinent “trend” speaks volumes. Rather than organic growth in Trudeau’s popularity, his success is more of a case of combined government and media political strategy.

Specifically, it is the trashing of the Conservative Party of Canada which delivers the intended results. Since the days of former PM Stephen Harper, mainstream media have positioned not only the Conservatives–but every leader of the party–as right-wing abortion haters and closet racists.

In this manner, CBC and the rest open up the gate for Justin Trudeau’s perpetual leadership. For how long will these patterns remain? CAP can only guess. Yet, based on a solid track record of predicting political outcome, here is our current prediction:

These patterns will remain until Canada is no longer a functioning democracy, and our country transitions into North America’s first dictatorship.
