Calling on Islamic School Leaders:
“Canada finally has an Association that represents Islamic Schools across Canada: Islamic Schools Association of Canada (ISAC).”
What an accomplishment. Education forms a bedrock for any community. A structured academic system results in cultivation of pride, identity and culture among community members.
In contrast to the Canadian public school system and its defining features as establishment by school boards, trustees, principles and teachers:
“Decolonization of student assessments, equity anti-oppression and anti-racism are at the core of student learning and achievement.”
Toronto District School Board informs parents that learning processes are “based on tenets of culturally responsive pedagogy and decolonization.”
Quite. CAP has to admit– we are a tad jealous of the privilege achieved by the Islamic School Board. Imagine a school system free from LGBT education. Conservatives can only dream of freeing their children from transgender-indoctrination. “Hey, teachers–leave our kids alone!” But they won’t.
Imagine the tethers loosened surrounding Canada’s national self-loathing. An ability to structure a school environment according to parental standards. Canadians who cannot afford private school– the working class in particular– experience no such luxury.
Juxtaposition drips from the page. On one side, the benefits of cultural and religious exclusivity. On the other, non-stop indoctrination regarding how awful our country is. All elements of traditional Canada coagulating into a singular presentation: our country is racist, homophobic, awful and terrible. It is what woke education preaches from the pulpit of bastardized liberalism.
It wasn’t always this way. What has changed over the decades? What is it which transformed our country into a malevolent force as branded by government, academia and media?
Our history itself hasn’t changed. What occurred is set-in-stone. Therefore, it must be an interpretation of history. Our heritage as interpreted by the public school system and institutions of so-called “higher learning.” There isn’t a university in our country that doesn’t preach the gospel against Canadian colonialism.
The anti-colonial movement is so ubiquitous one could believe that it is preconceived in nature. If citizens didn’t know better, they might think the agenda has arrived by way of systematic indoctrination.
Drilling down on its sources reveals that our seduction had a tangible starting point. CAP put it down to ex-Liberal PM Pierre Trudeau’s ingratiation of communist China. From this point forward, Canada’s education system began to morph into a pseudo-communist entity. By 2022, we were relieved of the “pseudo” element. Our education system went full-commie.
The Muslim community want out. Who can blame them? If we could, conservative citizens would do the same. Drag Story Time for Grade 3 students? Give it a rest, woke warriors. Indoctrination of youth is about as low as one can go. And woe unto us if a parent attempts to interfere. A father in British Columbia received a 6-month jail sentence for doing so.
Have you heard the news? Our education system holds jurisdiction above parental rights. The very same exists in China. Bet you haven’t read this in the Globe & Mail.
It’s all good by our Prime Minister, school boards and educational leaders. What’s wrong with them? Difficult to say, really. It’s as if they are under a spell. These people appear to be living inside some form of neo-communist bubble.
Perhaps they are. The new breed of communism has progressed from the 20th Century brand. Inclusive to the format is homosexuality, transgenderism and various permutations. Hence, the “neo” element of the educational equation.
No doubt fundamentalist Islam looks upon the situation with horror. Fortunately for them, a path exists to drag themselves out of the woke quicksand. What a privilege it must be.
