The Southern Interior of British Columbia is experiencing an outbreak of COVID-19 driven by the Delta variant, according to health officials. The latest data shows B.C. recorded its largest daily increase since May, 2021 on Wednesday with 342 cases.
“It’s the word on everyone’s mind right now when it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic: Delta.” stated CBC News earlier this week.
In contrast, Alberta’s chief medical officer Dr. Deena Hinshaw has announced that as of August 16th infected individuals won’t need to isolate. Isolation hotels are to close, as quarantine support comes to an end. Additionally, provincial mandatory masking orders will be lifted.
On a street level, this writer is witnessing the easing of Covid-oriented restrictions in urban Vancouver. Masks are now optional in grocery stores, coffee shops, as well government-controlled libraries.
What gives? Which is it– the Delta Variations busting a move, or an easement of pandemic restrictions based on a reduction in fear of Covid?
Or perhaps a third option– Canadians are so sick and tired of pandemic regulations that the phenomenon has no option but to wane in impact.
Cultural Action Party liken the pandemic vaccine push to a cattle drive in a classic black and white cowboy movie– “Hey Cow-hand, you best get to ropin’ in them anti-vaxxers before sundown.”
Media approach can only be described as relentless. Basically, they won’t shut up about it. Living in the third largest urban centre in Canada— population 2.5 Million– I have never met a person who has contracted Covid. Not that they don’t exist.
Still, there is something about the phenomenon that emits an odour of the totalitarian. The vehemence at which vaccinations are promoted. A desire to root out every living dissenter. The media shaming, and related ridicule.
The didactic manner in which government advance pandemic dogma, along with the will of media to “never say die” in terms of advancing fear within society. It was on this basis that totalitarian governments of 20th century history exceeded expectations.
“Culture of fear is the concept that people may incite fear in the general public to achieve political goals through emotional bias.”
‘The people don’t want war, but they can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked. Condemn the dissenters as those exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.”
As spoken by a high-level fascist from the mid-20th century. Is it not factual that pandemic-derived fear has established social fragmentation? The have-beens and the have-not beens?
Supporting evidence via Canadian media:
“Polls Show Majority Of Canadians Support Barring Unvaccinated From Public Gatherings”
Beauty, eh? What a wonderful world of driving fragmentation within society. As such, Cultural Action Party are driven to question the motives behind the social impact of our Covid epoch.
It is not as though CAP are certain the virus does not exist. The greater point is how the pandemic phenomenon has been utilized as a method of social control, dictatorial-style.
Whatever the motivation, Canadians are fed up with the agenda. We just want to live our lives, enjoy our summer, and be free of never-ending proclamations of doom and gloom.
Viruses are here to stay. Disease is still with us. Cancer, Heart Disease, Cigarettes, Alcohol — not to mention Abortion— destroy infinitely more lives than the Covid pandemic has.
Do we see comparable government/media campaigns focused on these killers? What is it about Covid that drives our controlling institutions to go hog-wild on vaccine indoctrination?
Surely there is more than meets the eye regarding Canada’s post-modern era of Covid virus dissemination.
