Trump Says He Will Do Justin Trudeau’s Job For Him Regarding Canadians Detained In China

In his closing press conference at the Canadian Embassy, with the U.S. Capitol building in the background, Trudeau said he had “extensive conversations” with Donald Trump about Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, two Canadians being held by authorities in China.

Going into that meeting, Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that he will do “whatever he can” to help Canada engage with China.

“Anything I can do to help Canada, I will be doing,” Trump said. Asked if he would bring up China’s imprisonment of Kovrig and Spavor when he meets with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump said that, “at Justin’s request, I will absolutely bring that up.”

A number of articles have appeared within Canada’s establishment media. Not one of them has put forth the idea that an American President being asked to do the work of the prime minister of Canada exemplifies the ineffectiveness of Canada’s current PM.

What we know is that high-level Chinese government officials, including President of China,Xi Jinping, have REFUSED to take a phone call from Trudeau. Nor will they accept a call from Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chrystia Freeland.

As a result, former Liberal prime minister Jean Chretien was brought in to assist. Another former PM, Brian Mulroney, recommended Mr. Chretien help deal with the incarceration of two Canadian citizens in China. It didn’t work.

Subsequent to this, Donald Trump was asked to assist, and he agreed. So that’s two former Canadian prime ministers, as well as the president  of the United States.

Interestingly, not a SINGLE Canadian media outlet has alluded to the fact that this situation provides tangible evidence of the INCOMPETENCY of Justin Trudeau. Why? Is is not blatant and obvious? Does John Ivison of the Globe & Mail lack the intuitiveness to draw this conclusion? Are CBC editors not erudite enough to fathom this concept?

Of course they are– but they WON’T. Yes, indeed, Justin Trudeau’s post-modern Canada is quite the ticket. Under our present PM, Canada is POST- competent national leader . Our government is post- adequacy. Canada’s prime minister is POST- proficiency

Interestingly, none of this seems to matter to the National Post, Global News or the Toronto Star. Please do tell– if it was former Conservative PM Stephen Harper who found himself in this conundrum, what would Andrew Coyne and Christine Blatchford have to say about it?

Short answer– it would be CRUCIFIXION -time. Watch and witness as Harper is placed on a skewer and barbecued to a crisp. But NOT Justin Trudeau.

Bias,  truth-spinning, deception of Canadians. This is the “news business” in Trudeau’s “no core identity” Canada. During recent Trump-Trudeau meeting, the Donald took it easy on King Justin. He knows that informed Canadian(those of us who are not Liberals) will deduce that Trudeau is a boy-scout of a prime minister. As with the leaders of China, India, Saudi Arabia and Philippines, Mr. Trump does not like Justin Trudeau. He is simply playing politics by utilizing the number one skill in the game–diplomacy.

So tough-guy Trump will attempt to do what passive feminist Justin will not, or CANNOT DO–play hard ball with powerful foreign governments. This element of leadership, like so many others, is not a level of competency Justin Trudeau has attained as  leader of our nation. A national leader who cannot deal with the leaders of foreign governments on a level playing field should not be prime minister of Canada.

Let Justin Trudeau put that in his peace-pipe and smoke it.
