Toronto Police are now investigating a Catholic father over allegations that he committed a “hate crime” for asking a Catholic school board not to recognize “Pride month” or fly the rainbow flag at Catholic schools.
“Jody Maillet, a part-time university instructor, told the Toronto Catholic District School Board’s March 4 meeting he was “concerned about a proposal to “recognize or celebrate gay pride month and fly the gay pride flag over our Toronto schools.”
“I oppose this, and I ask that you do as well,” said Maillet. The reason why is simple: because Gay Pride is not compatible with the Catholic faith.”
The first thing to notice about this situation is basic: this potential “hate crime” incident contains no evidence of a hate crime.
The Criminal Code of Canada says a hate crime is committed to “intimidate, harm or terrify not only a person, but an entire group of people to which the victim belongs.” The victims are targeted for who they are, not because of anything they have done.
“A hate crime is one in which hate is the motive and can involve intimidation, harassment, physical force or threat of physical force against a person, a group or a property.”
From what can be ascertained from media, the actions of Jody Maillet are devoid of such behaviour. There is no threat, intimidation, or intent of harm included in his statements.
Yet, this does not stop Canada’s uber-powerful LGBT lobby from screaming “hate crime.” Degree to which media point out this blatant discrepancy? Nothing.
This dynamic resides at the very core of the situation– and not one media organization will point this out. CAP’s conclusion is simple: media are working for the Canadian LGBT industry.
Another curiousity: Why is it that no one in government or media ever point out how well funded the LGBT industry is in Canada? Unless the world has turned upside down, money is still power. On this basis, the Pride, Gay and Transgender lobbies must be absolutely flushed with cash. No one says why, or where the funding comes from.

One individual who has come to the defence of the accused is the Archdiocese of Toronto, Thomas Cardinal Collins.
“In fact, Mr. Maillet correctly expressed Catholic moral teaching, quoting the Catechism of the Catholic Church,” stated the Archdiocese.
Astute political observers know what this statement will amount to: this and a Loonie will buy you half a cup of coffee at Tim Horton’s. Such is the irrelevance of Christianity within Justin Trudeau’s Great Reset society.
Turns out that the “inclusive ones”– Canada’s powerhouse LGBT industry-– despise Christianity. Very convenient this is, as CAP will argue the Liberal Party of Canada fall into the same category.
Mr. Maillet ended his two-and-a-half minute presentation with words from the New Testament:
“If any of you put a stumbling block before one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for you if a great millstone were fastened around your neck and you were drowned in the depths of the sea.”
The 2000-year old Christian Bible as hate speech? Put nothing past the hateful LGBT industry–after all, they have Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on their side.
